Free Home Inventory Software Service
the Insurance Information Institute has a free home inventory software service that you can use to document the contents of your home. (This is very important to do as you will have typically have to document what you’ve lost to be made whole at claim time…).
You can upload videos, photos, etc. The software isn’t the cleanest or prettiest, but hey… it’s a resource that doesn’t cost you anything. You can find it at Austin Insurance Resources (Towards the bottom of the page under software resources you will see the link). There’s also one for businesses you can access on this page as well as other useful insurance resources.
